Audit Log
In the audit log in the settings, you can view all executed actions chronologically.
Logged information

Timestamp
The time the action was performed. Hover over the timestamp or open the detail view for precision down to milliseconds. -
Area
One of the following:- Data - e.g., creating, modifying, or deleting test cases, test runs, or test plans. Open the detail view to get more information about affected records.
- User Management - e.g., inviting users or changing roles.
- Report - Creating a test run report.
- File Export - Exporting test cases or test runs to Excel or CSV.
- ApiKey - Creating or removing an API key.
- Billing - e.g., changing the plan or purchasing additional seats.
- Custom field - Creating, modifying, or deleting a custom field.
- Organisation - e.g., changing tenant ownership.
- Work item - Linking or creating a requirement or issue entry in an integration.
- Jira add-on - e.g., connecting or disconnecting the Jira add-on.
- Authentication - e.g., logging in or out.
- SSO settings - Configuring or modifying Single Sign-On (SSO).

Details
A short human-readable description of the performed action. -
Operation
A categorization of the operation into Create, Read, Update, or Delete. If not applicable, the operation is Other (e.g., signing up, changing a plan, etc.). -
by User
The user who performed the action or System if the action was executed by Testiny itself (e.g., purging entries above the quota). -
Project
The project on which the action was performed. Certain actions do not have a project (value None) (e.g., updating a user profile, inviting a user, etc.). -
Source
Either App or API, depending on whether the action was performed from the frontend or via the API. If an action is executed using the API, the used API key is shown in the detail view.
Retention policy
By default, up to one million audit log entries are retained for 90 days. Entries beyond this scope will be purged. Please contact us at [email protected] if you would like to request changes to these quotas.
